Home Parish: Sacred Heart Church, Richmond, TX
During my academic studies and life in the workforce, I have searched for a vocation that would be so fulfilling it would sustain me for a lifetime. In my search, I have transversed the fields of philosophy, psychology, and law—guided by a general interest in existential values and the human condition. Within this broad context, I have endeavored to find my true passion, but found my soul restless and my secular career pursuits unfulfilling.
I am fortunate to have received a good formal education and to have a family that has supported my search. I am also so grateful for the support that I have received from Father Michael and Father Thomas and all the laity at my home parish at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, TX, and the fraternity I share with the Knights of Columbus Council 7445. I appreciate the experiences of working with the Chancery, Catholic Charities at the Mamie George Center, and Catholic Life Teen at Sacred Heart during my discernment. With such blessings, I find myself longing to answer Christ’s call to enter the seminary and begin my formation in the service to Our Lord and His people in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
